SIA-C Self-Powered relay

  • Sia c lado web rev150P, 50N, 51P y 51N protection functions
  • Self-powered ovecurrent relay stars-up from 0.2 times the rated single-phase current
  • Can be temporarily supplied by an external battery
  • Reduces the operating cost of the centre: Installations and maintenance of batteries is eliminated
  • Events can be recorded (optional) and specific test menu is provided
  • High electromagnetic compatibility
  • External trip, activation of the striker or the coil
  • Indicates the cause of the trip even though the relay loses the supply (bistable magnetic indicators)
  • LCD screen allows the parameters to be set and monitored
  • Uses standard current transformers 5 A or 1 A
  • RS 232 serial port on the front and real RS 485 port on connection terminals. The ModBus RTU protocol is implemented for both ports

Communications

  • The relays have an RS-232 serial port on the front of the equipment with a DB9 connector and an optional rear RS-485  port  on  connection  terminals.  The Modbus  RTU protocol  is  implemented  for  both  ports.
  • The SICom programme with WindowsÆ 2000/XP uses a graphic user interface to allow you to access all equipment information, modify the settings and save events.
    The programme can be used locally by using the front port or remotely by using the rear RS485 port.
  • There are 4 levels of access with user-definable codes.

  • Adaptor that lets you connect two batteries AAA type of 1,5V to the SIA relays using the front RS232 communications port.
  • The adaptor allows the use of a 12V battery power supply and communication through the port at the same time.
  • ensures full operability of the SIA, even when tripping in case of a fault

STRIKER PRT

  • This is a single effect solenoid. The striker is spring operated.
  • The striker is activated by low-power polarised electrical signal supplied by the relay in case of a fault.Percutor off sin web
  • The striker is reset to its starting  position  manually.

TRIP ADAPTOR TCM

  • This item is connected to the relay trip outlet and supplies the energy needed to trip the coil.
  • It is loaded using the auxiliary 230 Vac voltage of the transformation centre and retains power for up to 3 days without external power supply.
